Microsoft Releases Windows App to Other Platfoms

After years of being in testing, Microsoft released a Windows app, which allows users from different platforms to stream a virtual copy of Windows on their devices, and even other Windows users.

The App is basically a Windows home screen with customization options, multiple desktop support, and even USB Redirections, which means that you can use the home screen on different monitors, or devices, from the same device, without having the hassle it usually takes, practically making the app a virtual PC.

However, the App doesn’t work as a Virtual Windows PC, since you need an existing Windows consumer PC to connect your school or work accounts to and use from different platforms. This is quite unfortunate; however, it might be in plans for the future, for now though, it’s mainly going to work as a remote desktop app.
