Google’s newest Gemini features are now available on Gmail for the web, Android, and iOS. One standout feature is an AI tool designed to make refining your email drafts effortless.
The search giant has launched a new “Polish” feature within the Gemini-powered “Help me write” tool on Gmail for both mobile and web platforms. According to Google’s blog post, this feature refines your drafts to ensure your emails are both clear and polished.
This new feature allows users to input rough notes, and with just one click or tap, Gemini AI transforms them into a polished, formal email.
However, this new feature is only available to users who are subscribed to Gemini for Google Workspace or Google One AI Premium. Google has stated that it will be automatically activated for all eligible subscribers.
Additionally, Google has updated Gmail on IOS and Android by incorporating shortcuts directly in emails. These shortcuts simplify the process of accessing and using AI writing tools while drafting.
The shortcuts appear in your email draft when empty, next to the “attach” icon. Simply tap on them to initiate the full “Help me write” experience and access all the AI writing tools.
