We just got our hands-on information about the new generation of JBL’s Tour Pro earbuds series the JBL Tour Pro 3, In case you don’t know, the JBL Tour Pros are wireless earbuds that come with a touch screen on the case for easier interaction without having to use your phone, so what’s new with this generation?
The JBL Tour Pro 3 Screen
The most noticeable change would be the increase in screen size, with the screen size now changing from 1.45″ to 1.57″, and with the screen size bumped, it’ll be much easier to interact with than before, but what does the screen even do?
Well, the screen can perform a lot of tasks for you, such as connecting to your Spotify account, checking the time, viewing the currently playing song, viewing incoming calls/messages, checking your battery status, etc, which makes it more efficient than having to pull out your phone to perform those tasks.
The JBL Tour Pro 3 Case
The case got plenty of changes to it too, with a new feature called Everywhere Entertainment which enables it to work as a wireless audio transmitter, by connecting it to any USB source, such as airplane screens for example, all you have to do is plug in your case, and it automatically connects to your buds, and not only that, but the direct connection between the case and the earbuds is even more stable than Bluetooth, therefore having lower latency.
Finally, the case comes with Auracast, which means you can easily share your audio with any other Auracast-enabled device.
Other features
The earbuds come with adaptive noise cancellation, which is said to detect changes about 50,000 per second.
They also come with 6 microphones for a clearer voice when on calls, and not just that, but they also have features such as JBL Crystal AI and Voice Call, which allows you to have a clear voice, even when the place you’re in isn’t suitable for it.
Finally, they come with new JBL Spatial 360 and Head Tracking technology from any audio source, which turns stereo audio into a fully immersive sound experience.
