Samsung Reportedly Delays Android 15 Update: What You Need to Know

Missing its expected release date, Samsung’s Android 15 update seems like it will be launched later, as many sources claim, Samsung has indefinitely delayed its launch.

Samsung has been working on the Android 15 update for a while now, and the update was supposed to come out last month. However, that date passed without Samsung releasing the update, despite many leaks revealing the new feature inspired by Apple’s dynamic island, a new array of visual changes and features, including a redesigned camera interface, and a variety of new skins.

The fourth Android 15 beta was released foreshadowing that the full Android 15 update may come at any time, but no release date specified.

Samsung usually, releases its Android version in October, so there may be time for things to change, and Samsung may hopefully drop a beta release in September.

Why did Samsung delay the update?

Trustworthy Sources Chun Bhai and Ice Universe suggest that Samsung held back the One UI 7 update for the 6.1.1 release, which has also yet to happen, even so, it seems like it may be more than that because according to Ice Universe, the reason why it was delayed is simply that they wanted to leave a good impression on the test users and to fix some obvious bugs and errors to reach the standard that can be carried out to the beta stage.

There have been mentions of bugs and issues with the update, but the possible main cause of the holdout may be the delayed rollout of One UI 6.1.1, which pushed everything back. Currently, it’s very unlikely the Android 15 will even be launched in August. Moreover, Google has also delayed the launch of their Android 15 to September, which could mean even more delay from Samsung.
