Nothing just officially announced the release of the Nothing Phone 2(a) Plus today at around 12:06 am EST on their official discord server, and with that we were able to get a look into what it’s packing, and so far, we’ve been seeing a great deal of changes.
Nothing Phone 2(a) Plus performance changes
First of all, Nothing claims a smoother and a 10% percent faster experience than the previous Nothing Phone 2(a) with the new exclusive MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G, which is exclusive to Nothing and can reach speeds of up to 3.0Ghz and scored over 805,000 on Antutu.
The Nothing Phone 2(a) also came with a huge bump in memory, with the phone now supporting up to 20Gbs of memory with the original 12GBs + the 8GBs from the RAM booster, which helps a lot with multitasking features and running demanding programs.
Finally, all of this is paired with a new 5,000mAh battery that Nothing claims can last up to 2 Days, and even specified how long it would last with specific tasks with:
41.6 hours of voice calls
21.9 hours of watching YouTube
17.8 hours of scrolling Instagram
8.1 hours of gaming.
New camera
The Nothing Phone 2(a) Plus comes with a huge upgrade to the cameras, with both the front and the back lenses being 50MP, meaning whichever side you want to record with, you’ll still get superb results.
The phone also comes with a bunch of new features for photos such as:
Ultra XDR: This enhances photography lighting in compromising conditions.
AI Vivid Mode: This scans the scene in front of you and generates an enhanced photo with colors that truly pop.
Motion Capture: This dynamically adjusts the shutter speed to capture clear, blur-free shots.
Night Mode: amplifies scenes by grouping multiple pixels to increase light intake.
And with all those upgrades combined with the new AI features, it speaks for a promising camera experience.
Extra Smart: Integration with Chat Gpt?
Extra smart is a feature that allows you to ask, listen, and learn from ChatGPT on the go. Which is a first-of-its-kind integration, that only comes with Nothing OS.
Extra Smart comes with features such as Voice control which allows you to use your voice to access ChatGPT on your Nothing audio device, wherever you are, which is available on all CMF devices. And Bespoke Widgets, which lets you get the answers you need faster and at your fingertips with text, voice, or image search right from your home screen.
The Nothing Phone 2(a) seems like an experience to look forward to, and as always we’ll be sure to keep you updated on any news, so stay tuned for more here at Techexposed.
