Apple Announces WWDC 2022

Apple announced today that its 33rd annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is set to take place from Monday, June 6 to Friday, June 10. As usual, WWDC will be online only and will have no in-person attendance.

While the event is digital, Apple plans to host developers and students at Apple Park on June 6 to watch the WWDC opening keynote and State of the Union videos together. Space will be limited, and Apple will take applications.

During WWDC, Apple is expected to unveil new OS updates, including iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, tvOS 16, and watchOS 9. But there is a possibility of hardware being announced. We also expect Apple to finally take full advantage of the M1 iPads.

Apple plans to provide developers with additional information in advance of ‌WWDC 2022‌ through email, the Apple Developer app, and the Apple Developer website.
