Windows 11 Initial Review.

On Tuesday, Microsoft released its first developer preview for Windows 11, and because I like living on the edge, I installed on my PRIMARY PC, and to be honest, it is very stable.

Features

Windows 11 includes a bunch of new features and improvements to the operating system starting with the new design.

First thing you would notice is the new taskbar/start menu, it features a glass looking design and the icons are now centered (you can make make it align to the left) and aswell as 2 new icons Task View and Widgets (widgets don’t launch for me).

Upcoming Features

Some features coming to Windows 11 that will be added in upcoming previews include:

Android App Support

Microsoft Store Redesign

Microsoft Teams Integration

Disclaimer

Tech Exposed does not recommend installing these previews on a machine you use daily, as there will be bugs and unfinished features. In fact, Microsoft has a number of known issues  it lists, and these are the important ones you should be aware of:

The taskbar will not be shown across multiple monitors (will be fixed in an upcoming build)

When upgrading a device with multiple user accounts to Windows 11, Settings will fail to launch

The Microsoft Store install button might not be functional yet in “some limited scenarios”

Did I miss anything? Tell me in the comments!
